- Eligibility is based on serviceable address for new and existing Spectrum Internet customers on any Internet tier.
- If your household currently qualifies for Spectrum Internet Assist, offering affordable Internet with speeds up to 50 Mbps, you are also eligible to receive Amazon Prime included at no extra cost from Spectrum.
- Amazon Prime Customer Status: Qualifying customers can be new or existing Amazon Prime members at the time of eligibility.
- Log in to your account to check eligibility
- IF eligible, you will see an option to Activate Prime: On the next page, click "Get Started."
- Create Prime Account: You will be redirected to Amazon's site. Enter your information to create your account, or your existing credentials to sign in if you have a Prime account, and then click "Continue."
- Welcome to Prime: Download your Prime apps to start streaming, shopping, listening and more, included at no extra cost from Spectrum.

- If you already have a Prime membership, you can transition your membership to be included at no extra cost from Spectrum. Activate your Prime membership from Spectrum at spectrum.net/prime and follow the steps.
- If you have an existing Amazon Prime membership through a third party but prefer to activate the Amazon Prime membership that is included with your Spectrum Internet plan, you must first cancel your existing Amazon Prime membership. Once your final billing cycle is complete, return to Spectrum to activate at spectrum.net/prime and follow the steps.
- To avoid the wait, call Amazon and they will facilitate an immediate cancellation. Phone Number: 1-888-280-4331. Once you immediately cancel through an agent, you can return to activate Prime through Spectrum.

This perk is ONLY IN CERTAIN AREAS. "eligibility is location-specific". You do NOT have to be in SIA. It's just stating that if you are you get the perk. This perk is available for ALL SPECTRUM internet customers who are in certain geographic locations regardless of internet speed/package. Not all locations are eligible right now. I do not know which areas are or which areas will be in the future. If you log into you Spectrum app you will know if you are eligible or not. When you activate the perk, it will remain on your account UNTIL you cancel your internet. Stay 10 years and the perk stays 10 years.
If you are paying $100 for internet, whether through Spectrum or any other company, you're an idiot. If you're a Spectrum customer, follow my instructions at the top and call. Plan on spending 30 minutes on the phone with Customer Solutions. Let them ask you all the questions. They're only doing their job and trying to determine what packages will work best for you. When they bundle the services, it is cheaper over all. Seriously, take the Spectrum Mobile free line. It runs off the Verizon towers and Spectrum Mobile is Tier 1 so SM customers will not be bumped for Verizon customers. I've carried ATT, Verizon, and SM around ALL over the country and SM consistently had the best reception. If you only want internet and want to continue to pay more for all your other services, including all the apps that most people pay for which are included free of charge in a lot of the Spectrum Video bundles (Disney+, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock+, HBOMax, ESPN, Redzone, etc all free). Seriously, cheaper than YT TV, Hulu, etc. Spectrum internet isn't perfect. But, better than the others. I reactivate A LOT of people who left for ATT Fiber or TFiber or Ripple/Frontier. So, if you want to lower your bill and think that 30 minutes on the phone is worth saving $30-$200/mth then call and ask for CUSTOMER SOLUTIONS. AND, the Amazon Prime perk is NOT available everywhere.

It's all about sharing data and spying on everything we all do.
We are Senior citizens over 62 in with no income, no Social Security and no government assistance. We really need the "Spectrum Internet Assist" as we are currently paying $110 for Spectrums internet only! I feel like they are taking advantage of us because we are seniors. We got an email saying they raised our speed at no extra cost ,but our bill was $10.00 higher! Could we in anyway qualify for this "Spectrum Internet Assist"?

They are well aware that they are the only ISP in the area (Worcester, MA) and my only other option is DSL.
