NordVPN here is a low-cost one year subscription for up to 10 devices, with activation codes delivered by email after purchase. The deal stands out for stacking on existing Nord accounts, router support, and no data cap or connection length limit. WireGuard is the preferred protocol for keeping speed loss low, while OpenVPN feels slower. The main caveats are that the new customer coupon is hard to trigger, orders have been canceled or denied, and some features like split tunneling and Russian servers are missing. It is a budget-friendly option if those limits do not matter.
Common Questions (5)
No. The coupon is for first-time Woot orders only, and existing Woot accounts do not qualify. A new Woot account was needed to get the discount.
Woot delivers an activation code by email, and the tracking number is just for that code. Use the same email at my.nordaccount.com/activate, or sign in first and then activate it there.
Yes. The activation code can be applied to an existing NordVPN account, and it adds time to the subscription rather than replacing it.
Yes. The plan supports 10 devices, and it can be added to a router so the router counts as one device.
No. There is no limit on the amount of data or the length of a connection, so it can run continuously without a usage cap.

If you want the best on all of them and willing to pay for it, Mulvad VPN
You need to make a new Amazon account with new email, then a new Woot account with same email and pay with a credit card not already in the wallet for your old account.

So I currently have the nord vpn "basic" subscription with like 10 months left. If I get the "12-Month NordVPN Internet Security/Privacy Software" which seem to have the "standard" vpn tier would it extend the basic another 15 months (meaning 10+12 =22 months total) or would it just convert my basic to a standard and it will only be valid 15 months total? or something else? They are technically 2 different tiers so I have no idea how nord would handle that.
Sorry, new with vpn and stuff

We understand that this situation is frustrating, and it's possible you were unaware that the source of the codes was unauthorized. We recommend contacting the reseller directly to pursue a refund or, failing that, pursuing consumer protection authorities in your region to help you recover your funds.
