I felt bad for the delivery driver that delivered all my 55lb plates.

The dimensions image is not right. CAP has different tiers. I believe this is the Pro dimensions, which has thinner thicknesses so you can load more weight onto the bar.

Standard 7ft Olympic barbell has ~16in of loading space. So with the inclusion of spring clips, you'd be able to load 405lbs, or 8 plates with the economy plates which are 3.25" wide

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

One thing to consider if you're building a gym at home (that I hadn't thought of) -- these bumper plates are ALL big, and if you're limited on space like I am, storage is an issue because they require a large rack. I wound up selling my bumpers for a small profit (good Christmas sale!) and buying iron weights that are a lot more compact. I also like having cut-outs on the weights to make carrying them easier, but I know people like the uniform size of these.

Well at least I'll be able to do 1 arm bicep curls with that 405

Agree with the assessment below. If price is not an issue, go iron. Price wise though those bumpers are cheap when on sale. If you have enough space, a power cage with attachments for storing weights was the best decision I made. Or weight plate rack.

To be clear the listing is $219 for the economy 260 lb set. Amazon does not list a 260 lb pro set, but there are listing for a pro 100, 160, 190, and 370 lb set. Agree though if money is no issue, get thinner plates, and as others have suggested you might consider iron. I have a mix and other than size (thickness) work the same.
