Using impact drivers with chrome sockets isn't good. Folks doing this should buy impact sockets and an impact wrench, ideally 1/2" if doing auto.

I just spray paint my chrome sockets black. Don't think folks need to buy an impact wrench and impact sockets, especially a 1/2" drive if just using for smaller things, like changing out license plate bolts in a plastic bumper for example.
