Haha Big Grin I hear you. A loved one just bought me an AYN Thor recently and even though I love and play it quite often, I still often find myself being tempted to pick up more of these lower-end devices (meanwhile the Thor can already play the games these can - and then some laugh out loud ). It's a curse.

Check out the R36S clone wiki and reddit thead before purchase. It has at least 2 different versions. One uses the RK3326 SoC with Mali-G31 GPU. Another uses a weaker SoC with the older Mali-400 MP GPU.

Interesting. Thanks and repped for the useful heads up Haojie.


The seller has ARM "Cortex-A35 CPU Up to 1.5GHZ" noted in the description (which should indicate the RK3326). Hopefully they're representing the product honestly. I'm going to check out those links a bit later; hopefully there's an easy way to see the chip through the translucent plastic (without have to unscrew that back and open it up). If anything, they offer free returns too; just in case.
