This seems not terrible at that price point but it's a sealed 12" so temper expectations if you are trying to fill a larger space. LOL at the retail price though. That's absurd! It's basically an old non pro SB2000 level of performance. Which is fine for what it is but sold for what like $600 back before tariff inflation? That's about how I value this sub but if you want small and ok rather than larger and better than this can be ok. If you want best value though for your HT $$$ then something ported like the RSL 12S is going to thoroughly outperform this with the caveat that it is significantly larger and your wife wont like it haha.
