This seems like a good deal considering the price of memory.

Extremely weak iGPU. Same specs as the iGPU found in the N100 ultra budget chip but with dual channel memory.

Very solid deal. The only shortcomings of this are no oculink or thunderbolt/USB 4.0. It's nearly impossible to find a DDR5 PC with 32GB of memory under $600 right now. CPU is also the best mini pc CPU you can get at this price point by a notable margin.

I am in the market for a new laptop and even a refurbished desktop is over 600 for this spec. Looks like a great deal specially when the RAM prices are so crazy

How well would this work with an external gpu set up?

how would this be for an office machine? hardest thing it does is run an winxp virtualbox for old software.

Overkill that'll run like a champ in your case. I have much weaker hardware that run lots of VMs in proxmox. Love mini and 1 liter PCs.

No oculink or thunderbolt/usb4 (as someone mentioned) so not great for bandwidth. Should be okay for games, to a degree, but will slow down local AI models.
