This mini PC stands out as a strong value for CPU-heavy work, office use, and virtualization, with enough headroom for Windows XP in VirtualBox or multiple Proxmox VMs. The 32GB memory and 1TB SSD bundle looks especially competitive at this price, and internal file transfers have been noticeably faster for media moving to a Plex server. The main limits are the weak integrated graphics, gigabit Ethernet, and the lack of OCuLink or Thunderbolt USB4, which also makes local AI workloads less appealing. Security concerns around ACEMAGIC factory software make a clean reinstall the safest starting point, a capable compact system if those tradeoffs fit.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. The brand has a reported history of factory-installed malware and adware, so a clean Windows reinstall and malware scan are recommended before using it for anything sensitive. Some buyers also avoid the factory Windows setup entirely because of those concerns.
No. It lacks OCuLink and Thunderbolt/USB4, so it is not ideal for high-bandwidth external GPU or fast expansion use. The USB-C port does support DP 1.4 and 4K@60Hz for display output.
Yes. It should handle office use and even a Windows XP VirtualBox for legacy software, and it is described as overkill for running multiple VMs in Proxmox. The CPU is also called the strongest mini-PC CPU at this price point.
It should be okay for games to a degree, but the integrated graphics are described as extremely weak and comparable to an N100-class iGPU. Local AI models can also be slowed by the lack of high-bandwidth expansion like OCuLink or USB4.
Yes, the bundle is seen as strong because 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD alone are estimated to cost roughly $330-$400 separately. That makes the $549 price look competitive for the hardware included.

Personally, I like my 3rd mini PC from Beelink the best. It has an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and it just feels effortless, almost Mac-like, compared to the Intel. It is also a lot quieter - which is a huge deal to me when I have something within earshot - not sure if this is due to the fan/cooling design or the processor.
