I consider it a pretty decent price for the specs. Without any trading required. I am logged in to my discounts store through working advantage. However, I imagine it is the same for either EPP or education discount or military etc
When you pick no trade. Then you will get $700 discount. In addition there is this extra $90 no idea where it came from.
You must be logged into your discount store page to see this price.

Samsung products are full of bloatware. Their retail website will put you in a doom loop or block you for "security reasons"

Weird that when I go to samsung site without clicking on your link, the 16GB RAM with 512GB Storage doesnt show up (grayed out). Only the 1TB Storage with automatic 32GB upgrade is shown for $16xx (with EDU discount).

But when I click on your link, the option OP mentioned shows up for about $1060. Still think $1000+ for 16GB RAM is too much. Should be around $700-800 before the RAM apocalypse (for a "deal").

There was an open box Bestbuy deal for same specs but the 4 Pro. Open box excellent was around $630. This is 6 Pro new. In my mind for 1k it's a great price. Kept it ymmv though because I know some buyers have their own negative opinion around Samsung Laptop but I own one and can't be happier. Depends on the experience

It does come with a 3K AMOLED 120Hz touchscreen, which is nice. There are some brands that are just more expensive and Samsung is one of them (as are Microsoft, Apple, and now Dell).

I tried getting the best pricing using my AAA membership but could only get to around $1100.
