Only ~$5 more than the G305 sibling that typically goes on sale for $30. This has the hybrid optical switches that supposedly eliminates the double clicking issue that plagues many gaming mice (including the G305, which I personally went through a few due to the inevitable double clicking issue). Seems like a no brainer, I would get one if I didn't already have one.

I agree, I would also get one if I didn't already have one. Kinda curious, did you have the double clicking issue with the side buttons or the R/L mouse buttons? I personally have occasional issues with the side buttons.

How does this compare to the master mx line? My mx 3 is getting beat up and this looks like a nice replacement and it being white is a nice bonus as i just moved from a black laptop to a white/silver one.

I got one with a previous deal for more, and I think this is the best deal I have ever seen for it. I use it with a rechargeable lithium AAA with adapter and it feels super light. Would have jumped on it if I hadn't got one and way too many Logitech mice laying around

I wouldn't be a good person to answer that since I don't use the side buttons much unfortunately. I haven't run into issues with the main buttons, though I've used it less than a year so far. My G305's lasted around 12-18 months each.

G309 will feel cheaper, smaller, less ergonomic, with much fewer features in comparison. MX Master is their flagship office mouse (and arguably the best office mouse, period) and G309 is a relatively budget-friendly gaming mouse. I also use a MX Master 3 for work, and G309 for play. I'd say get the right tool for the job.
