I pulled the trigger and drained my savings for this waffle maker. Target had/s? one on sale for the same price, but its a 6" and this one is 7. Also this one stores upright and the cord stores on the unit in a designated place so it takes a bit less space. I have been using pancake mix from Japan for the last few years (just add a bit of butter for waffles) and using some cheap $5 Santa clause mini waffle makers. I am ready to step into the abyss of waffle making and go all out with my remaining life savings of $15. Now I just need to find a better batter dispenser than the previous old ketchup bottle I have been using. Wish me luck!

I bought a Chef Buddy batter dispenser a few years back with all the good intentions of it making waffle and pancake prep easier. It's still sitting in the box unopened laugh out loud

I got this one earlier this year for almost $24. Was waiting for slick deal but kids... I never made waffles before. And used Walmart brand waffle mix. It came out so well done, I felt like a Rockstar dad at home. Kids love it. Since then have made many many waffles and it all came out well unless it has been user error like over filling or underfilling it.

Also, remember not to lock it while making waffle, as it need space to expand.
