Is this better than their fish oil? Is algae oil supposed to be better or what?

I don't see no 30% off coupon. $21.83 for me.

So, Costco's price for 120 comes out better per pill than this. If you have the coupon then this one is better.

I've been taking these for a few years. When I was taking 2 capsules per day in 2024, my Omega-3 Index was 8.19%. I switched to 3 capsules per day (2 with breakfast and 1 with dinner) which brought my Omega-3 Index up to a more comfortable 9.66%. Both times I did the complete Omega-3 Index test from https://omegaquant.com/.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I'm vegan, so this is my only source of EPA/DHA.

It's vegan, which fish oil is not. That's basically why this exists. Fish have omega 3's because they consume algae.

Fish oil tends to have higher amounts of EPA while algae oil has higher DHA. So just make your choice I guess. If you do go with fish oil make it a trustworthy source that tests for contaminants since lower quality versions can come with issues like high mercury levels (same as your canned tunafish).
