Don't buy digital, they can just take it away from you when the rights expire. In fact, digital deals like these shouldn't be posted if we're being honest.

Dude, it's 4.99 for 3 movies. That would be cheap even for a rental. I'll take my chances on this little company called Amazon sticking around.
I can no longer download my Microsoft and google music as well as my Amazon e-books. I've noticed my Steam and movie library missing content. It happens all the time.
We need a digital rights act for consumers. We're not going to get anything like that if we keep letting them divide us.

It's not that amazon will go under, it's the fact that deals expire and these companies simply remove content from your library cause you were only leasing the rights until they take them away.

It's not that Amazon won't be around, it's that they can take the digital goods back for any reason and you won't get a refund. Amazon has already done it and Sony just did it to Playstation customers.
has happened many times. Especially with deals here.
As others have mentioned, Amazon is one of the offenders…but surely you're aware of the recent Sony debacle?
it's good to have a healthy level of of skepticism on both sides, but when one side is questioning the nefarious intents of corporate interests…its probably better to scrutinize those with power versus those without.
