LG's WOLED is supposed to be ideal for very bright rooms, where OLED ones are better for color accuracy. I had to look it up.

I wish I could keep up on all these new acronyms

I picked up two of these yesterday and plugged one in to my switch 2 this morning to make sure that there were no issues with the monitor. Wow....great color and responsiveness. I have two windows in my room and lights on, no issues with any of that. Great monitor, highly recommend.

I have a 5070Ti and still on an IPS panel. Should I go the OLED 1440p route or go 4k?

got this from bestbuy last time and it is sitting side by side with my LG 34GX90SA-W and honestly it is supposed ot be brighter but you can't see it until you turn on the peak brightness setting on the 27 inch and even then it's a slight boost. I guess considering the 34 is HDR 400 and the 27 is HDR 600 that 200 difference is pretty minimal. BTW the price is 380.

1440 p will run better, yielding higher frames and is the better route. You won't be disappointed by simply upgrading to oled if you're IPS is already 1440

I think also its if you prefer 27" or 32". For 27", 1440p looks great. At 32" not so much and it begins to have a low ppi count. But you also have to consider that its hard to run newer games at 4k with high fps
