I use GE and Philips daylight white bulbs, but they don't seem to last more than a year. I've noticed that the warm white ones seem to last forever!

I've been using GE Relax 100w LED white warm dimmable bulb from Lowes for the last 5+ years, maybe had a couple of them failed out of 40-50 over this time period. I don't like daylight, so don't have any stats on those.

You can buy likely similar quality bulbs at Dollar Tree for $1.

Yes, this! LED was supposed to last far longer than fluorescent bulbs and Costco should carry good quality, but they've been burning out and some old fluorescent around the house are still going strong. Have you tried using the switch on the side of the bulb after burnout? Some of mine have had a second life in the basement after the warmer setting breaks.

Keep in mind that Daylight = Blue Light. I find daylight bulbs to be eerie and depressing.

I had a similar experience with the ones from Costco. The Home Depot cheap-o house brand ones actually lasted slightly longer on average by about 10%-20%. Every brand I've tried has a few outliers that burn out super fast or last super long, but over time I've found the HomeDepot cheap house brand seems to be the best deal overall if you calculate total on time per dollar. There were 2 big brands (I think Phillips was one) which lasted around 40%-50% longer than the HD bulbs but cost 250%-300% more per bulb so it wasn't worth the diminishing returns to pay 300% more only to get 50% more on time.

I've purchased these before. After 5 months or so, only 2 are still working. Absolute trash.

I have requested for their replacements. Mine went completely out wit the switches within 2 months.
