NES was on another level. You were fighting the boss, your sibling, and your mom while your grandmother kept slowly walking in front of the TV. Plus you had to beat the level before dad came home and gave you an ass whooping because you've been playing too long. That was the real battle royal.

the first 4 megaman games are the best imo. They are HARD games. absolute classics. I would buy both of those collections for those prices, they are all good.

They are both amazing collections, and MM11 is a more modern take on the series that is worthy of the moniker. I already have all 3 on steam, and on other platforms, but I am buying the collections on Switch because I don't have them on that platform yet. Best deal around when you can get these for $5 on any platform.

Btw, get MM Power Battle and Power Fighters as part of Capcom's Arcade 2nd Stadium - they are only a buck each right now on Switch!

I remember beating Mega Man 3 back when it released. It was hard but not insane like Ghosts 'n Goblins. I swear Nintendo hated kids in the 80 and 90s.

Super hard games aren't fun. Eventually you die so many times you just give up and move on to other games.

thats debatable considering the rise of the souls-like games, this version of the megaman collection is less punishing with rewinds and checkpoints so its not too bad anyways
