These 14 ounce VELOMIX shaker bottles are a compact, low cost option for protein shakes and preworkout, especially when a smaller bottle is easier to carry. They fit cupholders, can be cleaned at the office, and the flat base is a handy detail. The wide mouth top works without a whisk ball for some mixes. The main drawbacks are the small capacity, missing loop handle, and lids that do not latch as consistently as Blender Bottles, with the metal ball and plastic wear also raising durability concerns.
Common Questions (4)
It works best for smaller servings like preworkout or lighter protein mixes. For thicker shakes or larger milk-and-powder blends, 32-40 oz bottles are a better fit because the powder froths and takes up more volume.
No, these bottles do not have the loop handle found on Blender Bottles. They also have a flat base instead of a round one.
They can be used without a whisk ball for simple shakes, and the top is described as a wide-mouth pour style. That makes them usable with a wide-mouth mason jar setup for shaking and refrigerating overnight.
The lids can close with a firm palm push, but the latch is not as consistent as Blender Bottles. They still work well for daily use, especially if you want multiple inexpensive bottles.
