These 14 ounce VELOMIX shaker bottles are a compact, low cost option for protein shakes and preworkout, especially when a smaller bottle is easier to carry. They fit cupholders, can be cleaned at the office, and the flat base is a handy detail. The wide mouth top works without a whisk ball for some mixes. The main drawbacks are the small capacity, missing loop handle, and lids that do not latch as consistently as Blender Bottles, with the metal ball and plastic wear also raising durability concerns.
The wide-mouth pour top design can work with a wide-mouth mason jar for shaking and overnight refrigeration.
The bottles fit cupholders and can be cleaned at an office between uses.
The shaker lids can still close with firm palm pressure even without Blender Bottle-style loop hardware.
The 14oz size can suit preworkout use when smaller portions are preferred.
The 14oz capacity can feel small for the price compared with larger 28oz or 33oz replacement options.
The bottles lack the loop handle found on Blender Bottles, which can be inconvenient for carrying.
The included metal whisk balls can wear out the plastics over time, and protein frothing can also increase volume beyond 14oz.
The lid latch may not be as consistent as Blender Bottles, which can affect how reliably it seals.
