How is a blanket supposed to cool you? This looks shady. Even moisture wicking fabrics only cool if you sweat.

It doesn't. It's simply a lightweight blanket, nothing else. Most of the positive reviews are paid for.

I have several for my home. They do work. One side is normal, other is cooler. You can feel the difference.

The fabric is made with nylon impregnated with a material with high thermal conductivity, usually jade and mica. It doesn't cool you per se, but it acts like a heatsink or heat spreader like a cpu cooler. You'd still need a fan or AC to get that cooling ffect since the blanket will get heat soaked which end up working like a normal blanket, which most negative review comments failed to implement. The awesome thing about this is its heavy and feel really drapey. I would get a bigger size than your bed since I find it always slides off me.

It's actually heavier than cotton sheets. You still need a fan/ac to cool you off.

There are multiple verified reviews that say it's just a lightweight blanket. But I'm not sure anything would "not" be heavier than a singular cotton bed sheet though. Seems like a weird comparison - do you know of a blanket that is actually lighter in weight than a cotton sheet? Not sure it could be called a blanket then.

For hot areas some of us want the weight, but the not the insulation.
