If you already have a DeWalt angled grinder, which you can put a cut off wheel on, is there any reason you would need this?

This has a slightly smaller footprint (and cutting wheel) than typical 4.5" grinders. Not a normal use case, but I remember at least one time I had to cut a bolt in a wheel well and my full Dewalt 4.5" tool wouldn't quite fit.

Because it has a shoe unlike a normal grinder it has been handy for cutting square and flat stock cleanly without needing to head to the chop saw. Makes fast work of plumbing too
