Getting the stand is very worth it. I'm on Linux but it lets me just pick it up and put it down and it knows to connect or disconnect and start charging.

All settings can be adjusted with button combinations so keep your guide to learn what they are if your not using whatever software they have.

I've had two Gamesir controllers, while they are fine generally there's no need to have a stand as it will eventually stop working. They say cleaning the contacts helps but it's temporary.

Love this controller so much. I think I got it for $25, and it's easily the best I've used. I've also had a Gulikit hall controller (I forget the exact model), and an easySMX X05 Pro (which I also highly recommend, but the Gamesir is the best)

Excellent controller. I stopped buying Microsoft xbox controllers cause they eventually stick drift. TMR is suppose to eliminate that and so far so good with my Cyclone 2. The Gamesir Connect app is great too. You can map any button you like and it programmable up to 4 profiles so you can customize it for different games. Highly recommended especially at this price.

A little YMMV but $31.53 with stand if you go through the coins page on app. Add to cart from OP's link, go into the coins page, then it's $43.13, clip the -$2.00 seller/store coupon, -$2.59 with coin redemption, and clip the $7off35 coupon instead of the $6 that OP posted.

You have to jump through hoops and games to get deals on Aliexpress and it's never quite the same for everyone 🤷

It doesn't suffer from false diagonals like the others such as the 8bitdo Ultimate 2 do. However because the d-pad is concave, it's more difficult to trigger diagonals than the flat variants. So retro 2D platformers may be a pain in the ass to play.
