I've seen the tags at many best buy stores for the last 6+ months, but all have said that it's been cleared from their system for a long time and haven't had any

They won't sell the display model and they haven't had these in stock for months and months. I asked about it at my local store about two months ago and the sales associates laughed and said the store is full of clearance tags for items they haven't had in forever, but they can't remove them until "corporate tells them too".
