Just going to comment from my experience with appliances. The most reliable refrigerator units on the market are typically ones with a freezer on top. This is the most mechanically simple design and least likely to fail. Frigidaire being a solid brand aside, I would be comfortable purchasing this doing very little research.

I would however not make the same assumptions about the beverage dispenser. If you absolutely need a water dispenser, you might want to do some reading into this particular model.

Yeah, when i bought my last one, i was wanting water on the door and so many of the french door units, that part was in the refrigerator section at top, so i avoided it thinking probably will be an issue in the future. So i went with a whirlpool side by side, with ice and water on the door... That was a huge mistake, year and a half later ice maker broke 5 times. Whirlpool doesnt give a crap, but yes, I fell this style is probably most reliable.

This is not a beverage/ice dispenser system that requires a dedicated water source or power. I've seen these types of fridges in South America. It's simple gravity with a water reservoir in the door that has to be manually filled. Very little can go wrong but obviously it's not a continuous flow system.

Same price on Home Depot with One 1 star review that doesn't give any details, making it next to worthless.

Did you do any reading about this particular fridge? Seems like there is at least one big assumption within your comment.

Again, I'm speaking from my general experience as someone who fixes and sells these things as a side gig. On average, freezer over refrigerator are basic, basic, basic. And that makes them reliable.
