This 2.1 cubic foot Frigidaire chest freezer is best for very small, secondary storage, travel, or off grid setups rather than a full garage freezer. It can fit a modest amount of meat, stock, or a few meals, and the compact footprint even works as an office end table or in a rec room. The dial includes refrigerator temperatures, and the unit is described as drawing about 75 watts while running, which makes it workable with battery backups and power stations. The main limitation is size, which leaves it too small for most grocery or family needs.
Common Questions (5)
It is very small: practical capacity is closer to a few meals, a few Hot Pockets, or a single Costco pack of steaks than to family meal prep. It may fit 2-3 cut-down primals or about two deer's worth of processed meat, depending on how it is packed.
It is better suited as a secondary freezer, travel unit, or apartment-sized freezer than as a typical garage freezer. A typical garage setup is closer to 14 cu. ft., while this model is compact enough to work as an office end table or for a single person.
The deal is viewed as strong for a tiny freezer, but Costco pricing was reported lower at $120 in-store and $99.99 in some ZIP codes. That makes the listing attractive mainly if you want the convenience of free shipping or need this exact compact size.
It draws about 75 watts while running and can start on a 2200W LiFePO4 battery backup. A 1024Wh battery can run it for roughly 10 to 12 hours continuously, and it is also suggested to pair well with 1500W power stations for travel or camping.
Yes. The temperature dial includes refrigerator settings, and it can be paired with a greenhouse temperature controller to run it as a fridge in setups like a skoolie.

I saved the video, if someone cares for me to pull up the link, but it's just a small part of their skoolie walkthrough.
