This is a better deal than the px770 for $550. Add in a stand, pedal, and bench and you are $100 less than the 770.

The keys on the 770 are marginally better, but this is portable so you can actually move it to different rooms in your house and you'd use it. The sound engine is newer on this one and sounds more modern. The sound engine on the 770 is probably 20 years old. I mean this keyboard is also not exactly new

Speakers are probably worse on this one (never did a side by side) but I thought they were totally fine and you can buy a decent quality Bluetooth speaker for $100 and even just one studio monitor is enough since you don't really need stereo

I checked into these keyboards a couple years ago and found that the black keys had a different weight than the white keys. Is that still the case? Currently have Yamaha p80 still working but wouldn't mind a newer gig keyboard
.. not gonna pay big bucks for Nord stage. Those are so overrated -joke keyboards.

I think it is because of the short travel of the keys and something about the keys being heavier as you press further into the soundboard. I don't think it's not actually a problem

Which one would have better resale value?

Probably the 770. But the 770 weighs more, is harder to move and it costs $100 more. Now that I think about it, I wonder what guitar center would pay for something like this

I didn't technically say that. As the 770 also needs a bench. I said you were $100 less as both need a bench

But on amazon they have keyboard stand and bench combos for less than $100. A pedal is about $10 for a simple one that is on/off. Technically these 3 pedal sets support gradient pedaling but it's not necessary
