Literally just finished eating mine this way! I've been doing this for most of the year for breakfast, along with some other things, and my A1c is significantly down from a prediabetic range AND I'm losing weight and a gaining muscle. I recommend it, plus it balances the sour cream flavor of that kind of that kind of yogurt.

2nd that this is a great deal. Usually see these bags at my grocery store for about $7.50 per bag.

Protein all the things...

Looks like this has soy protein nuggets. It's alright for health. Maybe not the best for muscle building, but it's probably fine. It seems like it would make more sense to just eat regular granola and then eat eggs/meat/protein shake, but if you're trying to up a kid's protein intake that's probably fine

I was able to order at the deal price using subscribe and save plus the 20% coupon and the $10 of $35. Great deal for tasty granola. The sugar content does look high if you go by the 2/3 serving portion but many people use a lot less since the granola is mixed in with yogurt and fruit.

I can see the appeal for quick breakfasts or snacks. For anyone training seriously, eggs, Greek yogurt, or a shake probably make more sense for the main protein.

Comparing this Nature Valley protein granola to KIND-brand protein granola, KIND has less added sugar but more saturated fat, so the calorie count per ounce is about the same. Pick your poison.
