Ordered one earlier taking advantage of this promo for my wife. I'll return the one I got from BestBuy (thank goodness for the Plus membership). I did check the first responder discount when I ordered it from BB, and the discount only applied to Ring 4, even though 5 was out at that time for a while. Glad that 5 is eleigble finally.

This is only for a small group of professionals who are able to verify their eligibility through id.me. It's not a 30% off for everyone type deal.

EDIT: Apple Ring is just a rumor at this point (well, it's been a rumor for almost 2 years), so "soon" is not really applicable here. If they end up making one, I'm sure my wife will ditch the Oura ring and get one.

Oh no worries. It's a nice bonus to have especially at this price point. My lowly Blue Cash Preferred has "Spend $400 or more, earn $50 back" deal for Oura, which requires me to order 2 to be eligible.
