Oura Ring 5 is a premium smart ring for sleep and activity tracking, and this healthcare promo brings the price down sharply. The discount can stack with Amex credits, and store pickup avoids the $15 shipping fee. The main catch is the subscription, since the app is much more limited without it and some checkout attempts show the ID.me discount banner without applying the savings. A solid value only if the promo and subscription setup work for your account.
Best Buy store pickup can avoid the $15 shipping charge for this purchase.
The Amex Platinum statement credit can stack with the healthcare discount for a lower effective price.
The healthcare discount can persist through the place-order page after ID.me verification.
The healthcare promo can be eligible for Ring 5, unlike an earlier Best Buy discount that only applied to Ring 4.
The discount experience can be misleading because the ID.me green banner may show while the cart still receives no discount.
The Amex Platinum benefit may not cover the subscription payment, and the app can provide limited information without an active subscription.
The deal may be less compelling once the subscription cost is considered over time.
The healthcare promo is limited to a small verified group rather than a universal 30% off deal.

EDIT: Apple Ring is just a rumor at this point (well, it's been a rumor for almost 2 years), so "soon" is not really applicable here. If they end up making one, I'm sure my wife will ditch the Oura ring and get one.

By the way, shipping is $15, but you can do "store pickup" from Best Buy for free.
EDIT: Ended up adding a 3-year warranty (covers accidental damages) to a Gold size 11 to pass the $400 threshold to get $50 back. Gold one with 3 year warranty for $350ish is a great deal considering the ring itself is $499 (with 1 year standard warranty).
