A "Hey I just watched a movie" thread

One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.)
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

Captain America: Winter Soldier - Literally tried 7 times to get through this film but kept getting distracted. Normally love action and Marvel movies but this was terrible.
Could have been a great movie; 2001 for the new generation. 2 hours and 46 minutes go by fairly quick, and it is a fun ride. For me, all the explanation at the end of what we saw kind of ruined the movie. 8 out of 10.
Ominous - paranormal haunting in the woods. If you enjoy playing Mystery Science Theater, this is a good candidate for it. We had a lot of laughs ad-libbing our way through this low budget poorly acted mess.
Perfect Sisters - really Abigail Breslin? Really? Some of the worst acting on the planet in this story about siblings who decide to kill their mother.
Half Light - five stars for this Demi Moore thriller about a mystery novelist who's son dies. She moves to a remote cottage in Scotland to work on her next book and the haunting begins. But who's who and what's what? Could've used some slight tweaking to make plot a bit clearer but still, a film worth seeing.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes. - Pretty bad. There's this small part of your brain that knows you should be blown away by how far special effects have come but it's totally overridden by the fact that half the movie is apes speaking in sign language.
The Lego Movie - I still can't really believe how much I liked this. Everything about it was clever and fun, from the story to how they used the Legos for everything - water, soap suds, etc. Definitely recommend.
