A "Hey I just watched a movie" thread

One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.)
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

Edit: Looks like it aired in the US at some point and they aired it in two longer episodes, just FYI in case you're looking for it.
Dirty Grandpa -- Surprisingly fun.
The Lobster -- Zzzzzz.... "Wait, why did he... why doesn't that character... what's with the weird talking... isn't this supposed to be a comedy..." zzzz....
Kindergarten Cop 2 -- Dolph Lundgren! Combination of comedy, action, espionage, and some romance in there too. I was expecting terribleness and was happily disappointed.
X-Men: Apocalypse -- It's an expensive blockbuster and has its moments. But it takes talent to screw up classic comic book (uh, I mean graphic novel) storylines, and X-Men once again doesn't disappoint. Led by multi-time winner of The Most Overrated Actress Award, Jennifer Lawrence, and Magneto who kills a lot of people and the good guys don't care, this is two hours of asking yourself of the producers and writers: "What are they doing?"
The Jungle Book -- Just when I was getting a fever and thinking the only cure was more cowbell, the movie literally got more cowbell. Good.
Buzzard -- Take a SlickDealer, then remove all morals as they constantly try to cheat at everything to save a dollar. Stealing office supplies and returning them to the store without a receipt, cutting his hand then trying to stop the blood long enough to get to work so he can blame it on a work accident, etc. No, it's not a comedy.
Never Back Down: No Surrender - my favorite underrated action star, (and he's good at regular acting too!), Michael Jai White, kicks butt in an MMA-inspired martial arts movie.
Batman: The Killing Joke -- the popular comic book (uh, I mean graphic novel) story comes to life in animated form. The story has the ingredients for an inspired, R-rated, dark and twisted tale like the graphic novel it's spawned from, but the animation and some other things lets it down.
Warcraft -- World of Warcraft movie. How does someone screw this up?
The End of the Tour -- Jason Segel plays a famous writer who hangs out with a Rolling Stone writer doing an article on him. 90 minutes of sitting around pondering about life. It must be pretty good considering it made me forget how terrible Jesse Eisenberg was as Lex Luthor in Batman v. Superman.
The Keeping Room -- Three women fight to save their land and their lives from Civil War soldiers. Slow. Lots of sitting there doing nothing, dramatically. This movie must have been produced by the NRA because the women get beat up and worse by physically stronger men until they get some guns as equalizers.
Age of Adaline -- Love story with Blake Lively and the relationship problems that come with never aging. Predictable at times, illogical at times, but overall a nice watch if you're in the mood for some lovey-dovey with a slice of supernatural.
Runoff -- Joanne Kelly (Warehouse 13) struggles over her decision whether to illegally dispose of chemical waste on her farm in order to have enough money to save it. Slow but questions morals and stuff.
The Shallows -- Bikini-clad Blake Lively vs. a shark. yeah. Pretty good!
Independence Day: Resurgence -- oh god make it stop.

For an Anthony Hopkins film it wasn't great but it's a good thriller in HD if you need something to watch. I don't care much for films where the sound goes way up in parts. Good premise though.

This teaser trailer looks interesting, watched the long trailer too but it gave too much away, so didn't post it. Don't know anything about this story, if it was book, graphic novel, etc. but the movie has a good cast. The release date is 11/11/16.
Was watching something else and forgot autoplay was turned on and this started playing afterwards.

Edit: At the risk of reading spoilers, I took a look at one article about the movie, it's based on a short story by Ted Chiang.
It's a fairly spoiler free article, if you want to read it click the link below.
