"This is an excellent price for a reputable, high-quality product, and it provides enough power to run heat guns. Not every portable power station can do that. For example, my Jackery Explorer 1000 v2, EcoFlow River 2 Pro, and DieHard 1000 can't run my heat gun even on its low 1,200-watt setting. The high setting draws 1,800 watts, so when I need that much power, I use my EcoFlow Delta 2 or Litheli Eclair.
The downside is the weight. At 36 pounds, it's a great deal but a backbreaker for me. I really wish Segway would add wheels and a telescoping luggage-style handle. If they did, I'd buy three of them because, in my opinion, Segway makes very solid products. At these prices, the target customer isn't necessarily a strong teenager who can easily carry 36 pounds around.
As for Segway's durability: I've put 1,870 miles on my Ninebot scooter, and the brake-light LEDs finally died. But, to be fair, I had started doing rail slides and jumping it off/down flights of stairs. I'm a skinny 52-year-old guy—can't I live a little?"
