Mine is being delivered today. Seems to have been a backlog. At this price the U6 might have been a better deal. I went with the e7 as I had $350 in Amazon Gidtcards

How does this compare, real world, to TCL's QM series specifically pq and brightness. I know I can see what ratings says. Looking for some folks who have experienced both.

I have the 65" QM7K and did a lot of reading and watched many comparison type youtubes. Almost unanimously the TCL was the preferred choice over the Hisense. However, Hisense are usually a bit brighter. I'm not sure what pq is. One turnoff to this TV for me would be the FireTV platform instead of Google or Roku.

I will say this... the QM7K has the best sound I've ever heard on a TV (even the old crt tvs). Supposedly the 8K is even better.

Genuinely odd that this was thumbed down. I too am looking for the comparison Frank mentioned and want Frank to hurry it up so I can decide.

This is the E7 not the U7. If im not mistaken, this is a lower grade TV. MSRP should not be $1000
