I have this sling and love it. It packs up kinda small for bringing on a trip. The side clips do squeak while using the sling which can be annoying on a hike.

Yeah, that's got to be annoying. There are reviewers on the product page that said the same thing. I'm gonna pass on this one.

I found it annoying only when in a quiet place like a forest. In crowds or city environments, it kinda blends in. I wouldn't 100% write this sling off due to that unless you really think that is something you are going to bothered by. The stabilizer strap does cut down on the noise quite a lot as well (but I don't really use it often).

Grabbed one. Not excited that it weighs more than half of my 40l backpack, but at the same time my main Chrome Sabin 5l sling struggles with a slightly wider camera so its worth trying for the low price
