Wow...... this was when my mom used in her time. I was looking for stainless containers. Hopefully it's good quality. Some stainless indicate as stainless but when I add heavy salt (for some cooking), it gets rust so I ended up throwing them away. The OLD one that my mom had, it didn't rust...

I would not count on these holding up very well. Especially if you put them in the dishwasher even though it claims that's ok.

Yep, people claim any coated metal is 'stainless' but really it's just a super thin layer of nickel/chromium most likely. Once thats gone, hello rust.
