Barilla Protein+ Penne is a plant based protein pasta deal that looks strong on price, with the 12 pack listed at $2.84 and Subscribe and Save dropping it to $2.70. The price also compares favorably with Costco or Sam's, and the deal has sat near this level for months. The main issue is fulfillment, since multiple orders arrived as a single box instead of the advertised 12 pack, sometimes crushed or damaged, and refunds or replacements were inconsistent. A tempting price, but the quantity risk is real.
Bulk pasta meal preppers stocking the pantry, because the 12-pack price undercuts Costco or Sam's when the full case ships.
Shoppers who want a low-cost protein pasta staple, because the per-box price is $2.84 and drops to $2.70 with Subscribe & Save.
Prime households filling a large grocery order, because shipping is free with Prime or on $35+ orders.
Buyers who need a reliable fulfillment count, because the order can show up with only one box and require a refund or replacement.
Shoppers who need the advertised 12-pack to arrive intact, because orders can arrive as a single box instead of twelve.
People who need food boxes in clean, usable condition, because deliveries can arrive crushed, sticky, and with faded ink.

Not sure that much time is worth $2.84, but hey, worth a shot if you're game.
Sitting this one out, too much of a potential penne in the ass!

I ordered 4.
If they ship 48 of them, 40 will get donated to the local food pantry.
If they ship 4, I'll provide Amazon the screenshots showing "Size 14.5 Count (Pack of 12)" and I'll get a refund and get to keep the 4 boxes.
