This heat-based mosquito bite relief tool is a tiny travel-friendly gadget that aims to calm itch fast, with adjustable heat and timing and no separate battery to manage. The category is described as effective for mosquito bites, especially for occasional bites and sensitive skin, and it pairs well with hydrocolloid patches or a suction tool used first. The main tradeoff is the intense heat sensation, which can feel like a burn, and the listing may be non-returnable. A compact option if you want quick, portable itch relief.

My daughter somehow is a magnet for mosquitos. We walk together and she'll get 5 bites before we reach the end of the driveway. They ignore me.

Anyone noticed that this product is non-returnable? May be only me but thought to call out.
Would you like to buy a used unit?

I think i might try this -- Currently I use the hottest water out of the sink as i can stand, letting it override the itch nerves, which lasts a few hours of relief - but this could be faster and easier, especially when i am not around a sink to try the other way. Thanks OP

Thank you, OP.
I didn't know such a product existed. Based on the positive comments, got one.
This will help me address the occasional mosquito bites. I've been putting the insect repellent on my legs and arms so that also helps a great deal.

I take a metal spoon and run it under the hottest water, which is around 120F. Then I place the bottom side of the hot spoon on my bite for a few seconds. I repeat until I no longer feel the itch and well before it does any damage to my skin. It works well, and is pretty much what these devices do. Difference is that the hot spoon method is basically free.

I have the Beurer and it really works for mosquito bites. Other bites not so much.
1+ for another person happy with my Beurer, I was skeptical at first, but they really work for mosquito bites.

How does it compare with the $7 one? https://a.co/d/0ci78yZv
They look very similar. And people here in the SD comments are shouting out a bunch of other brands that work good too so it seems like this tool is already very commoditzed. Which is crazy since I never heard about them until today! Thanks for posting this cheaper one!! I'm in for two at $7 a pop. The Asian tiger mosquitos are going crazy in my neck of the woods.

Got the iProven Bug Bite Buster from ThatDailyDeal for $6.
https://slickdeals.net/f/19570980-iproven-insect-bug-bite-buster-instant-relief-device-6-free-shipping

This model has two settings - 3 / 6 seconds. It beeps when time is reached and turns off the heat.
These do work. I apply two or three 3-second settings consecutively and gets rid of the itch.

If you want a lower price, I think the price will go down near the end of summer.
Deal still works even though it was posted back in May!! Need to use promo code BITEBUSTER . Thanks for posting. I'm in for one of these and one of the $7 ones on Amazon posted above. Amazon ships much quicker and I need one of these ASAP! 😭 Edit: you can get additional cashback on TDD using a portal. And they don't charge tax somehow! 🙌 bought a cheap hose for $10 from them last month and it worked out good. Took about 2 weeks to arrive though.

Mosquitos love me and I get huge itchy welts from their bites. I can attest that these reduce or eliminate most the itching. The downside: it feels like someone is putting out their cigarette on your skin when you use them. You could never use this on a child; it hurts and feels like a burn.
thanks for mentioning about children.

I like the Vibis so much I bought two. More expensive, though, and can't compare to this one (should be about the same).

Seems like this will work, since it's applying heat to the bitten area.

For the occasional bite, you can get relief by setting your hairdryer to the hottest setting and blowing it as close to the affected area for as long as you can stand it. Same effect and provided relief for a couple hours.

check and see what type of perfumes/soaps that she may be using. The new area that I moved to, if I go outside after using Irish Springs soap, mosquitos are on seek and destroy. I switched to dial and mosquitos are LESS attracted to me. Not 0, but definitely less. Like instead of 10 bites, probably 3-5.... give that a try and see if there are changes!
