The shopping bag is a cheap filler and a genuinely useful item. I like having them in my car to help carry stuff out.

I've never found them to actually keep track of it especially if you get different cashiers, and definitely not if you go to different locations

Just be cool.

Go put your stuff in the car, walk back in, grab another item, get back in line.

The employees are not at all interested in how many times you come in.

If the cashier says "Weren't you just here?", just say with a laugh "My wife says you guys should rent me a room, I'm here so often".

Also note that the free items are often kept up by the registers, not on the sales floor.

Rag has a lot of lint, it isn't 100%cotton. So it don't clean spills up well. But it's free and is 1 time usage for me. If it was 100%cotton I would not feel too bad tossing it away after 1 time usage.

Suck for cleaning up paint too. 😩

Just FYI you can easily find the lowest priced items at Harbor Freight. Do a search on "*" (asterisk, the wildcard character). Then sort by price low. On other sites asterisk, NULL or {null} might work to get a list of all items for sale on the site.

The step drills are not bad, I usually buy the magnets (2 types) or something like the snap blade. Find magnets most useful. Might do the 10mm sockets lol. Good free stuff this time

At $5 a gallon, I sure would not drive up to HF 3 times.

But if I already was there, I certainly would get back into line 2 more times.

....and again, HF does not care. If they did, the computer would flag that you had already got your free item; and it doesn't.
