Nah it's just that lot of existing accounts recently got $50 added as credit somehow, check the billing and transactions tab

I charge at home too but why would you not use these credits anyway? home charging is cheap, but still not free. Even when not road tripping, I hit up an EVgo station when my battery is empty enough to burn the entire credit. Still saves money from not pulling energy at home.

I was trying to use them. And I could have but the charge points didn't work and then I went on vacation in may. That was when evgo wiped out $54!!!

If you have solar at home it offsets some the cost / along with time of day charge. For me it was not worth the effort to go out of my way to charge unless I was going a distance from home.
