Love that this Tiluck set includes both cups and spoons for $7.99. Engraved markings mean the measurements won't rub off in the dishwasher!

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I tried these several months ago and sent them back for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, the material is thin and easily deformable. One of the cups actually came slightly squashed, but it was not difficult to bend it back into shape. This is not just a cosmetic issue, because it affects the volume of the vessel. The edges were a bit sharp -- not sharp enough to cut you, but slightly uncomfortable to use without sanding or polishing.

Secondly, the spoons were wildly inaccurate: most of them ran 10-20% short, e.g. the 1 Tbsp that was more like 2.45 tsp, except for the ½ tsp that held 6% more and the ⅛ tsp that held 28% more. The cups were true to nominal size.

They might've been acceptable if they were at least internally consistent within the set, but it would be difficult to cook with prescribed proportions using this set. This is a common issue with cheap sets like this, but for the price, it's easy to get 2 sets so you could return the defects. Probably fine if you're going to measure with your heart, but not for rocket surgery.

Hmm thanks for your review. Seems cheaply made if the measurements are that inaccurate
