Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on PS5 is a huge, story-heavy sequel that shines in combat and side content, with roughly 100 plus hours of play and Queens Blood standing out as a highlight. It also lands as a strong follow up for players who liked the newer Final Fantasy VII entries, and the Amazon exclusive skin is seen as a minor extra rather than the main draw. The big catch is that it is the second part of the remake story, so starting with Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade matters or a lot of the plot will be missed. The low price makes the package more appealing, though the skin and packaging have arrived missing in some cases.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. Rebirth is the second part of a multi-part story, so skipping Remake Intergrade means missing a lot of setup and story context. The original PS1 game was 3 discs, and these remakes are structured similarly but much longer.
Yes, the $19.99 price is described as historically low for this edition, and the game itself is praised as an absolute blast. It is also a strong pick if you want a long RPG and already plan to play the earlier remake first.
The included skin is seen as gimmicky and can be missing from some deliveries, with one report of the game arriving without the skin or packaging. At this price, the game itself is the main value, not the bonus skin.
It has 100+ hours of content. The main draw is the huge amount of gameplay, though some minigames can feel like a drag while Queen's Blood is a standout.
