A comment in the Costco thread mentions their Sam's Club location has the Pro for $59.31 so possibly less in store. I can't verify though.

The person saying they got the pro 2 @ Sam's club is mistaken. It is the regular openrun pro with the magnetic cord. Sam's club does not and has never carried the openrun pro 2 with the USB c cord. However I did buy the openrun pro from Sam's club and love them. They are definitely my new go to

That was a typo by me - they meant that the Pro's were $59.31 at their store.

This is technically just a continuation from the July deal. I checked last week and it was still $80. Not a new deal

I've had these for 4 years and haven't killed them yet. I prefer the Pro to the Pro 2 in terms of build and features (especially the voice status announcements instead of simply beeps like on the Pro 2). The only downside is no USB-C charging.

my old Aeropex's are my shower headphones but apparently these aren't waterproof enough to be used in the shower? Anyone have first-hand experience?

I wouldn't use these in the shower.

Completely agreed, no USB-C charging is a big ol' pain in the butt. I have had to replace my charging cable, but the generics online work fine, so it isn't so bad!

If anyone is considering something like this for sleep, and you don't move around a lot, you can also flip it over the front of your head (sure, left and right get swapped, but ah well!) and let it rest there. That's part of the reason I got it!
