I've been on the fence with AARP for a while now. I hear they sell your info like crazy, and that's where they make their money, not on membership fees. Can't confirm it, but it makes sense. I don't need any more marketing harassment than I already get. I hear mixed reviews about their discounts on things, though the Walmart+ one others have mentioned sounds worthwhile, if you're a Walmart regular. I'm not, but it might be handy.

$40 off Walmart+ yearly rate.
Walmart + has 50% every year during Black Friday & Christmas. So why bother with 40 when you get 50%?

You can only get that the first year. I've had Walmart+ for years now and I don't qualify for any of those discounts anymore. It's tied to my address. Changing credit cards and email doesn't work if you use the same address for deliveries.

My wife and I enjoy the Consumer Cellular bundle deal and the Walmart Plus discount which we use for an annual Paramount Plus streaming subscription. These two deals alone make membership worth our while.

Use a throwaway email address because the AARP emails absolutely will...not....stop. Ever. Until you are DEAD!

For the life of me I can never get this with Walmart plus. Walmart tells me to contact AARP and vice versa. Google searches did not help me.

I just started from here and followed the instructions. I do think they have to be the same email address. https://www.aarp.org/membership/b...lmartplus/
