They are small. Smaller than the regular bone-in wings. If you are near an 7-11 that has them and have their app, they have a better deal: 10pc bone-in wings for $8. Usually bigger than Popeyes. Air-fried from frozen to order in five minutes.

You know how you have a whole chicken wing from Chinese takeout? They cut that into 3 pieces and throw away the tip. It's a rip off 1 piece for $1.

No deal. $1 for a tiny wing is ridiculous.

Community Reviews

Popeyes 12 for 12 is strongest for the tenders, especially the blackened tenders, which are described as fresh, juicy, well seasoned, and a better value than the wings. The wings get some praise for being crispy and flavorful, but they are repeatedly described as tiny, sometimes dry, and not comparable to a full wing because only part of the wing is served. Sauce portions can feel stingy, and the deal is not available at every location. A solid chicken deal if tenders are the main draw.

Common Questions (3)

  • The tenders are the stronger buy for this deal, with regular tenders often priced much higher than the wings. Blackened tenders are especially recommended, though some locations may serve them dry or with limited sauce.

  • The wings are reported to be small, and Popeyes sells only one wing section rather than a full 3-part wing. They can be juicy and crispy, but the portion size is closer to a drummette or wingette than a standard whole wing.

  • It appears to be location-dependent and not always visible in the app. Some Rewards members found it at their nearby store, while others could not find the offer at all.

What are their wings like? Dinky or decent sized?
Popeyes Spicy Tenders and Chicken Sandwich are the way to go. Not their wings.

That chicken sandwich is so good it may have actually saved them from bankruptcy. lol like legit

The deal isn't available at a location I pass all the time. It's available inside a mall location that's close by, but I'm not going there even if the wings are jumbo sized. I'm not interested in this deal at all.

no offer in my app. deleted the crappy app.
Did you try just the website? It's showing for me even without logging in. This is not an app-only deal, and you don't need to be a rewards member, which is awesome.

40% off my ass!! that was the regular price before it all went up to $13. And some locations $14. I've never seen 12 wings for $20. Is that a regional thing?

Go to Costco to get chicken strips for $6.99. Best deal ever.
I tried them at Costco. The price is good and you get a lot of food but they're extremely dry and overly breaded. I would say they taste worse than 7-11 by far. The sauce however is good.

I'm partial to KFC hot wings but who are we kidding, all fried chicken is pretty damn good! Super market fried chicken is tough and over cooked and still pretty damn good. lol

Shows for me, maybe it's a regional deal.
