Better if they fit well...Most of the ANC is from isolation versus amazing ANC. Overall most users seem to prefer the Nothing headphones over the Sony 720, but like all headphones YMMV. If you are focused on price and ANC quality Q45's are pretty hard to beat, though the ultra low pricing seems to be gone. I also like the sony XM4, but the battery life on nothing a is insane.

720n wins slightly on comfort and microphone quality.
Q45 wins on best ANC, decent software features and foldable, microphone.
Nothing A likely wins on battery life, isolation when they fit well.

I wouldn't buy any headphone without a warranty, so add thar as well. It's $20.

I have these and bought them @ ~180. This is an insane deal and I am tempted to buy another pair.

I came from some older QC35s. So this was a pretty decent change. For some light pros and cons.

PRO

Tactile buttons. You wouldn't believe how much of a difference these make. The adjustable controls are amazing and it would be tough to go to anything touch after this.
Great feel, solid body, the mix of metal/plastic is sleek
Decent sound. For someone who isn't a crazy audiophile, these should sound perfect with an easy profile swap
Noise cancellation isn't quite Bose/Sony level, but super serviceable (ANC, Passthrough)
It starts out a tad stiff, but wears in exceptionally well.
Obviously cheaper than the similar bose/sony models

CON

Heavy. If you are not used to them, you might have a bit of neck fatigue. I've gotten used to them for the most part, but I cannot see going a full 8 hour day with them on.
Stiff out of the box
Noise tuning and profiles are a little wonky out of the box. (I pulled a profile from someone who knows better). Audio experts don't seem thrilled about the ranges (once again as someone who casually listens to music and podcasts, it doesn't seem offensive or cheap at all).
No case
Replacement cushions are not available for replacement. There look to be secondhand ones, but it feels pretty bad that there aren't first party ones for this or the (1).
If you wear glasses, the fit is a little awkward. This is intentional it seems to maximize the audio isolation.

This isn't the greatest purchase I have ever made, but it is certainly a good one. These headphones punch well above their weight class. You can get close to flagship headphone performance for a fraction of the cost.
