In the early days of consumer accessible rechargeable batteries (90s? '80s?) there were really awful 9Vs. As I recall they were significantly worse, in comparison, to the effectiveness of the AAA and AA batteries of that era. And they have to have a different style charger, where AA and AAA can usually share the same charger. I don't remember them being particularly popular.

They make 9v with usb port charging. I use those because I tend to misplace these specialized chargers.

This only puts out 8.2 to 8.4V fully charged according to customer reviews so caution if you device or use alerts or requires 9V or slightly above that to function properly.

If you NEED 9v, they are 8.2 (likely) to max 8.4v fully charged. That is the nature of lithium chemistry.
The 3600mWh is COMPLETE, ATROCIOUS MARKETING LIES! I mean there is 'padding the truth, but that is WAY out of line.
HW does this with ALL their batteries, but this is the worst I've seen.
Capacity test show these to be ~400mAh = ~600mWh.
No way they will go 1000+ cycles. Doubt they would go 500. Maybe 100. But probably ALL the products in this category have grossly over inflated specs.

I researched 9v rechargeables recently. 1: get NIMH not lithium ion if you actually want 9v and not 8.x, second, don't buy this brand, either they are deliberately vastly overstating the capacity, or some yutz added a zero by accident

I have been using rechargeable 9 volts in my smoke alarms for a long time. My smoke alarms and are mains powered. Battery is backup. It will chirp if there is low voltage or no battery in the smoke alarm. twice a year when I have to change the time, i put freshly charged batteries in.

If you only have battery powered smoke alarms, you need to be diligent about checking the smoke alarms are working. Rechargeables not a good idea in these cases.

So...9v x 400mAh = 3600mWh...or am I missing something? Granted, you say it's more like 8.2v....so 8.2v x 400 mAh = 3280mWh, assuming it maintains that voltage output....
