Magnet on this thing is hot trash. I have one that I never use because of this. Constantly dropping bits and it won't hold a screw longer than about 1/2inch.

The Bosch bit holder has both a magnet, and a retention ring. It can be a PITA if you change bits often. The retention ring can be removed with a pick, or the like, leaving just the magnet to hold the bit. I find the magnet alone to be strong enough. Other than that, I've had one break on me. Personally, if I needed another one, I'd go back to the DeWALT bit holder. I've had DeWALT bit holders last for years. That said, this is about half of what I paid for it, so if you don't mind the above, it's a slick deal, and does appear to be good in stock.
