This ear wax camera kit is mainly valued as a low cost inspection tool for looking inside ears and other tight spaces. The camera helps reveal buildup, eardrum detail, and even possible infections, and the included scraper can be repurposed for drains or other DIY checks. The app connection and orientation can be awkward, and the device can run hot during use. At the deal price, it stands out as a cheap little scope for occasional inspection work.
Common Questions (5)
At around $6 to $6.49, it is described as a good deal for basic ear viewing and inspection. Some buyers also bought two for about $12, and the low price makes it easy to repurpose one for other inspection tasks.
It may fail to connect at all, and one report says the device had to be returned because the app connection never worked. Another similar ear-camera app was described as only staying connected for about 30 seconds, which makes positioning the tool harder.
Yes, it can be repurposed as a small inspection camera for cracks, holes, drains, and car maintenance. Some buyers even buy a second unit so they can modify the scraper and keep one for non-ear inspection tasks.
Yes, it can get very hot during use. One report calls it "okay" overall but says it "gets hot af," so it may be uncomfortable to hold for longer sessions.
No tweezer-style grabbing function is mentioned; the kit appears to use a scoop/scraper instead. That matters because a scoop can be less useful for pulling debris out and may push material further in.

does anyone know if the 'ear wax softening' products work well, like the syringe + drops?
