The upgrades in the fx-9750GIII model, and general repositioning by Casio, have set the 9750GIII as the entry-level graphing option from Casio. The 9750GIII is Casio's only monochrome screen graphing calculator, and this model lacks either MicroPython support (as in the CG50 and CG100) or Computer Algebra System (CAS) functionality (as in the CG500).
Besides the CG500, I personally own two other models of Casio: the 9750G PLUS and 9750GII, the latter being hacked with the firmware of the 9860.
Considering all of this, I consider myself reasonably qualified in suggesting that absolutely no one should be buying the 9750GIII at this price unless they really, REALLY want one.
