Naw, this still isn't a deal. A decade ago you used to get more than this every time for half the price.

They got successful and got greedy. Everyone needs to stop going so they can fail and something better can start up to fill the gap. The business circle of life.

Are people really going to Chipotle for the regular chicken?

The sofritas has more flavor.

Plus, it's their highest margin protein, even after you pony up the extra $1 for better options.

The actual bowls got smaller when they switched to cardboard.

So you're getting a lot less carbs, which is what fills you up the most.

People say Qdoba (use to be owned by Jack in the box) and Moe's Southwest Grill were real competitors to Chipotle mexican grill. Plus some other small businesses places videos I seen on social media like Baqba Mexican Grill (Inland Empire, Southern California). The list goes on.

If you are eating Chipotle because it seems to be a healthier option, be aware of the amount of sodium in their food. I always thought "Oh, chicken, rice, black beans and veggies...it's gotta be healthy"

What I was not aware of is that their Double Protein bowls have about 1440 mg of sodium. That is an INSANE amount.
