This Taskstar cordless caulking gun stands out for reducing hand and wrist strain on long caulk jobs, with thrust that seems adequate for a decent bead. The included two batteries add real value, and the battery system appears to line up with Seesii and Makita style 18V packs. It also looks practical for weekend projects and light handyman use. The main caution is pricing and promo handling, since the coupon did not apply for one checkout and the total jumped well above the advertised deal. A handy pick for frequent caulking without the manual squeeze.
Common Questions (3)
Yes, it is a strong value for weekend projects and arts-and-crafts use, especially because the included batteries alone are seen as worth the price. The electric drive also reduces hand and wrist strain on long caulk runs.
Yes. It is compatible with 18V Makita batteries including BL1830, BL1840, BL1850, BL1860, BL1820, and BL1812. It also comes with two batteries, which should cover daily use without needing to swap packs constantly.
The code H9G7YNDJ still seems to work, but in the Amazon app you may need to tap the arrow in the promo code box before pressing Continue. If the coupon does not apply, the total can jump to about $60 instead of $34.99.
